Service Description

This will be your initial at-home lactation visit. Duration is estimated to be a 75-90min, where we will discuss your full health history and make a physical examination of mom and baby. We will gather baby weight before and after feeding and determine the baby's milk transfer volume. We will discuss how to optimize your breastfeeding technique and help you make a plan moving forward. We will also cover information such as pump flange size, oral assessment of baby, nipple health, pumping schedules, etc. ** Includes 1 week of follow up calls, texts or emails with consultant. ** $20 travel fee will be applied for any distance that exceeds 30 miles one-way.
